Of all the passages of scripture that turn us towards our best selves, is there any greater than Genesis 1.27? Human beings:

made
in the image
and likeness
of God

 

I am finding the follow image utterly captivating and rest on it thinking it describes what I hoped to have done in over twenty years of school chaplaincy:

‘A procession of angels

walk before a person

wherever they go,

blowing the shofar and announcing:

“Make way for the image of the Holy One.” ’
